Areas of Focus
Deep expertise across two interconnected domains for modern revenue organizations.
Alana Kadden Ballon is a go-to-market executive with over 20 years of experience scaling revenue organizations across some of the most successful B2B SaaS companies in the industry. She has over a decade of leadership experience scaling private and public companies including Salesforce, Duo Security (acquired by Cisco), Wiz (pending acquisition by Google), and Sprout Social. Alana serves as an advisor to several early stage startups in both North America and Israel.
Professionally, Alana served as VP of Revenue Operations at Sprout Social (NASDAQ: SPT) where she transformed the team and their approach to annual planning, forecasting, deal structure, discounting, success operations, and compensation. Prior to Sprout, Alana built revenue operations and sales development at Wiz, helping scale from single-digit ARR to over $350M. There she led global go-to-market strategy across the entire customer lifecycle, from sales development through customer success and renewals. Before Wiz, she held senior GTM and enablement leadership roles at Duo Security, where she developed a >$1B cross-functional pipeline plan and drove the company's global expansion into Asia Pacific.
Alana also brings the perspective of a founder: she built Inqune, a revenue enablement consulting firm, from the ground up to serving over 20 B2B technology clients — partnering directly with executive teams to improve win rates, reduce ramp time, and build repeatable revenue engines. Today, through her advisory work, she brings that same operator-and-founder lens to early-stage startups navigating the critical path from initial traction to scalable growth.
She holds a B.A. in Business Economics and a minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies from UCLA and a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University — a combination that informs both her analytical approach to revenue strategy and her deep focus on the human side of building high-performing teams.
